valve guides or valve seals
i went to the drag strip friday night and i got into the final four but i had to forfiet because on my last pass i started smoking ALOT, i know i over boosted but not more than 5 pounds
(i normally run 12), i got back to the pit and i noticed a wire for my boost controller had broken, so i checked my oil and it was low but no chocolate milk, so i put it back on the trailer and brought it home, i pulled a compression test and it's 150 across the board, so i filled it up, and started it up. smoke was pouring out , so i shut it off and pulled another compression test same thing, 150 again, i pulled off my down pipe to sheck for oil in the turbine, nothing, so i came to the only possible conclusion i could think of either valve guides or valve seals, when i rebuilt it i changed the seals but i didn't change the guides
what do you think?

i pressure tested it (i forgot to add that in my original post) and it held 15psi, i'm going to pull the head off tomorrow and get a good look at it, it's oil smoke because the exhaust was dripping oil, and before this it was brand new with a little carbon
i seriously doubt it's the headgasket, because one of three things would have happened
#1 i'd have chocolate milk in the oil pan, and possibly the turbo
#2 i'd have a leak in a cylinder (usually between 2 and 3) causeing it to fill with water which i would have noticed when i pulled the spark plugs
#3 i would have lost compression in one or more cylinders
it wasn't running bad it was just smoking it's ass off, thats the first time i ever caused a track clean-up, and let me tell you i felt like a douche for it
