Default What car to get???

I've been hit with a dillemma (actually my dad). Can't decide which car to get? Need your help and advice. Looking for a car with good performance and 5/6 speed.
Here are my choices so far (in no particular order). All three offer very similar performance. Any other suggestions are welcome as well

2004 BMW M3 6 speed
2004 BMW 545i 6-speed
2004 Porsche Carrera C2 6 speed (with very few options)

I would like to keep the car around 60k so the Porsche will have to be spartanly equipped.
Thanks for the help

I'd pick the Carrera if it were me.

If you're going the Porsche route and can wait until next year.....the 997 will be out.

I looked at the 5series yesterday, overall I wasn't that impressed.

I'm personally waiting for an 04 M3, should be in very soon.

But in your situation, if it has to be one of the above....

1. Carrera.....you're going to be up against the wall $ price wise though cutting it real close for a very decontented car.
2. M3

Wouldn't even consider the 5.

out of those 3 i'd get the M3 without a doubt. The N/A porsches all feel kind of boring to me. We had a C4 and it wasn't nearly as fun to drive as the e36 M3 i had at the time. I know it's a little out of that price range but you can get 2001 996 Turbos for around 75 grand now.

Unfortunatly, you can't.

They still go wholesale for around 85 and retail right at 100.
