Comfort/features?
Yes, basic stuff, I'm not needy, and for sure no leather seats, I hate them
Gas Mileage?
No, don't care, capabilitiy is more important to me
Price?
Yes, needs to be resonable
FWD/RWD/AWD?
You forgot 4WD, which is not AWD, I live in one of the top 15 snowiest cities in the continental US (2 of the others are 75-90 minutes to the east and west of me)
Size?
Yes, big please, as in heavy, thus sticks to the road at expressway speeds in rain and some light snow
Number of doors?
Really only need 2, but 4 is okay if the back ones open backwards so I don't have to walk around it all the time to throw my backpack on the back seat.
Capability?
Yes, has to have the ability to support my track hobby, my camping at racetracks as well as the fact that I'm a home owner and I bought a house that needs work, as I'm capable of doing a lot of it
Fast?
Yes, I want something with some serious power, just because it is a DD does not mean I can handle an underpowered ride
Hey look, I already have my perfect DD...

I wanted a 335i (best all-around car ever made, IMO) but needed something that could haul my giant dog, so I got an FX35 (which I really like). I can't see needing much more in a daily driver than the 335i offers (unless you need to haul that giant dog regularly). Maybe the next-gen. X3 will have the bi-turbo six, along with better styling and a nicer interior? Maybe we'll swap the 2 FXs for 2 next-gen. X3s? That'd make a couple nice daily drivers.

Mazda RX-8. It's an S2000 with backseats. Great brakes, great steering response like the S2000, great driving position, great handling for a stock car, high reving too!
Plus they are selling for dirt cheap now, I could pick one up with less than 10 000 miles for 20 000$
OR a 1999 BMW M3 100% stock in MINT condition; but they are almost impossible to find...snif...

^ Yup, I built one on BMW's website, and with a reasonable amount of equipment (no nav and, I think, no premium stereo), it was still around $63K. That is crazy $$$, IMO, for something that will take the everyday abuse (kids, dog, parking lots, etc., etc.) of a daily driver.

I remember at first they had flooding problems which I do not want to be involved with (the last car I had that flooded was before fuel injection).
