the purpose of this post was to find TANGIBLE reasons behind the M3 vert's price... the search returned no results
i will not pay for the M3's hype... that's pretty much why I own an S2000 and not the slower Boxter
now...
are there any CONCRETE reasons why the M3 is a better value / better performer... and no, I do not care if the M3 has more luxury features or hype associated with it; I am not a snob, I'm just looking for the BEST VALUE - just as I was with the S

since these can cost the same, this comarison is fair (in my eyes)
so what do you guys think?
so what do you guys think?
you'd have to find an extremely high mileage M3 to be equal to the Mustang GT. it'd be out of warranty, and probably be a beaten up version of the M3.
why don't you drive both if you don't see a compelling reason to shell out for the M3? I think its a great car, and a step above the Mustang in terms of driver experience (not just interior, etc).
I also think boxster S>s2000>boxster, but I dont have the money for a boxster S, so I got the s2k.
for the most part, you need to compare two cars that are comparable in performance, and then base your decision on what you value. the s2k at the time was superior to the boxster, so I didn't compare the two.

Well, let's see which page your were on ...............................
To me, "current" could have meant the last M3 vert to be sold (2005?). NOWHERE in your title or your first post did you EVER state year of cars. I sure as HELL did NOT see '02 for the M3 or '05 for the Mustang. YOU just put that in.
Then you came up with this ........................
They DON'T cost ANYWHERE the same. And since you NEVER provided a link to whatever thread you were talking about, you can't possibly expect ANYONE to devine what you "meant".

you succeeded; i am now crying like a little girl
does tha make you happy?
yes, i sorta made up my mind, but was looking for some CONCRETE stuff about the M3 that I may have overlooked; stuff that would make the extra $ justifyable
instead I found nothing, and a bunch of whiny biotches
