What would you do?
I get pleasure from driving my cars, not telling others what I drive.
That said, the Cayman S is clearly a better driving machine than the M3, though the M3 is still a great car. I also think a Cayman S is more desirable than any Porsche short of a GT3 or 911TT.

If you don't need a back seat, get the Cayman, IMHO. It isn't a practical car by any means, but as a daily driver, it would be fine. You would just need another more practical alternative for jobs the Cayman couldn't handle. The M3, on the other hand, could serve just fine as an only car.
I see you are running out of garage room, I'm also to the point where if I get another car that car or the S2000 will have to be parked outside. But I was thinking of getting a car lift system so I can stack them.
Did you ever think of stacking them? I'm not sure how much it costs tho.

I wish! I'd love a lift, but things are already tight enough in the garage as it is. I have a 2 car garage + a separate 1 car garage (for motorcycles, bicycles, and workshop), but it woud be a lot more doable w/o that wall between them.
Oh yeah, then there's the issue of paying for it all. I still feel kind of crazy paying up for a Porsche, even moreso the idea of also keeping the S and adding a lift!
