What are you guys more interested in
I haven't had extra high hopes for the GT-R thinking it would be an even heavier yet more powerful version of the 350Z. My feeling has been if the 350Z is heavy how much will this car weigh with AWD and twin turbos (etc.)
But I've got more interest lately that I have seen that they are testing it alongside the new 911 turbo, not to mention how much track testing it seems to be getting. I have a feeling its gonna be an outstanding car.
Here is a link to a vid where the GT-R is testing at Laguna Seca where it was (unofficially) quicker than the 911 turbo. -

Not to mention the GT-R looks HOT

My feeling about the M3 are equally mixed. I'm worried it's going to be a good bit heavier than the 335i. I'm bracing for a weight over 3700 lbs. I'm sure it's going to be quick but may be too much of a GT. (500 lbs to 600 lbs more than a Vette or a Cayman S)

The GT-R and M3 will have to be evaluated alongside the Corvette and Cayman S on the sporty side not to mention the RS4 and Lexus IS-F on the GT side.
