White, Black, or Silver
Hi,
After the selling the s2000 I have been looking for another car. At first it was the G35 in Ivory Pearl. I looked, and found "the one" after 6 months and let it go. I am looking for something better now, the CLK 500 W209, years 2003+. At first I just wanted white (White just looks damn good in my eyes), but now I am wondering if I should possibly get another color. If i get silver, it would be with silver wheels , not bad but a bit average. If I get black, the wheels would be silver as well or black, but black paint might drive me nuts with swirls. If its white, it would be with silver rims, not a bad combo either plus I don't see many white CLKs that are modified. Let me know what you think!!!

Thanks,
Tony

I can't see any pic other then the white but I love Benz silver. It is deff. one of the best silvers I have ever seen. Having said that, get the white because that is what you like. BTW, owning a black car sucks
Silver is BORING/ seems like everyone has that color. But if you dont mind that other people have the same color I say go SILVER.
Otherwise,
Black if you are willing to put in the work to keep it clean.
THerefore my vote goes to BLACK<<

IMO, every Mercedes looks super in black with the lightblue shaded windows
Drove a new ML320CDI and it was stunning and very present in black. When I notice other new ML's on the streets in silver/bronze/blue or whatever, it just doesn't have that superior 'thing' about it...
They say lots of people who can't decide on color just take silver (not saying this is true about S2000 owners), so that is not my favourite.
On the other hand, the white with blue windows looks very nice too... Since I prefer a light color leather I would go for the black one. Black is always a winner on Mercedes and is very classy, esp with the chrome finish.
What about resale values of different colors over there? You care about that? Only downside on black is that you have to wash it more often, but when the washing is over, you will
again over it, so much is the difference, you think you just got yourself a new car
On a very dark color you also don't notice the spaces between body panels that much and the tires almost have the same color than the paint!

Black. Definitely. the white looks nice in that photo, but in my opinion it takes a car like the Porsche GT3 to really pull it off. And silver M-B are there whenever you turn around. But mostly, the M-B black is just a great color.
I'd say get black as well. I had a silver one myself but always thought my buddies black one looked so much better. White is nice also, but i usually see old women driving them around here in so cali. I got rid of mine a few months ago, but if your interested in 19in HRE's, i still have them for sale

since i have owned toooo manysilver cars i can say any other color...i like the black but know since i have a black car that it gets dirty in a day, the white is practical in that respect but shows all the dings worse than theblack..in the end, what can you picture yourself in? i would have a hard time between those two colors myself, both being very stylish.
I agree with you guys about silver being boring. Heck at the time we purchased the s2000 silver was the color that everyone got and i did the same. After a few months i regretted not looking at other colors. And white, pretty much see only females driver have them. Black it is. Though I am fairly nuts about keeping my car clean, I think i may be able to pull it off with the help of zaino. Not to mention it might be a fun experience...hopefully!
