On that car......yes, yes, yes, yes, and yes. There was a new white M5 on eBay doing the same thing with the wheels.
It really depends on the car I guess, but that's a look the big $$$ machines can pull off. Do it on a Camaro and you'd probably look like an idiot.

While I don't dislike that, I probably wouldn't do it if it were my car. I think black centers with a metal ring looks better. I think that style could work on all kind of cars, but it's a color-dependent thing. Not every color is going to pop like that, and some will look really gawdy and ugly. For example, if that car was yellow and he did the wheels yellow on black, I don't think it'd look god at all. Sometimes applying the body color to other parts on the car just doesn't work out.

I think it works well for that car, but not sure it'd work on every car.
I wouldn't kick it out of my driveway, that's for sure. And besides, we all know white is the fastest color so you need to make as much of the car white as is possible.
