yeah man not exactly sure on what your supposed to do but it has to do with turning the key and a couple other steps, a quick search on the light should show how to do it.

Pretty sure it's explained in the owner's manual.
If you don't have a manual, there's always the FAQ in the Under the Hood forum.

A little effort on your part would go a long way.

Put the key in the ignition, but do not turn it. Hold down the TRIP button near your speedo, turn the car on while still holding down the button. The light should disappear within a few seconds.

The procedure is basically the same.

Hold trip, turn key, wait till it stops flashing

done

you don't have to turn the car on though, just turn the key two clicks and you're cherry.

Cliffnotes:

1. Hold trip button,
2. turn key two clicks,
3. maint. light will blink after 10 sec,
4. release trip button, then hold it again for 5 sec. and it'll clear,
5. put top down,
6. take the long twisty route to work.
