Video speaks for itself. Is it possible there was oil or some other kind of fluid in that lane? Sure, but we'll never know. I'm betting it's the lack of suspension travel that caused this accident.

Thoughts?
Road looks a little wet, but when you are only using 1" of your tire tread, you can't expect a lot of traction. Dude could have just rolled over a peanut.

I've experience first hand that a lack of rear bump travel/hitting bump stops = dramatic, unexpected spins. (at a AutoX EVO school actually)
It was about 2 weeks after I installed KW clubsports lowered around 1.75" with the whole bump stop still in there. Gotta cut the bump stops and increase spring rate for the grip levels that these new road tires can give. I raised it up 1/2" as well. Car became much easier to drive and made more rear grip with a smaller rear swaybar as well.

I think he has more problem driving like an a$$ than his wheels and tires.

Anyone who doesn't think that slammed cars are (more likely than not) dangerous doesn't understand how suspension works. It's not just hellaflush cars either. I saw an s2000 driving down the highway in Dallas the other day, and it looked like the owner was riding a horse. The suspension was so stiff that it was bouncing over every little imperfection to the extent that his head was bobbing around.
what it did look like?

It was silver and heading westbound on George Bush.

This was exactly my thoughts...

He obviously lost control after the sharp turn. We don't know exactly what caused him to lose control. My guess is that it was some combination of a substance on the road and his less-than-optimal tire setup.
