I used to take my 104 HP 2000 Civic into the mountains and it was fine.

Just do the 325xi.

The only bad thing is that she is fixated on the SC430 Lexus.

hehe... the "back seat" is shaped just right for grocery bags. I tried to shoehorn myself in back there (and I'm not a big guy by any means!) and it was laughable.

The interior of the SC is killer. I'm kind of ambivalent about the exterior. I like it in black, but other colors make it look too bulbous for my taste. But it'll be her car, not mine so it really doesn't matter what I think!

The roof is super cool and they look much better with some *bling-bling* aftermarket wheels.

i was just looking through the 3 series brochure and discovered there are more features on the 330 than just the sport wheels and the extra 40 hp. i would agree that it's the way to go and we might as well pop for the extra $40-50 per month. i also worry that i'll look at the 330s sharing the road with me in the future and feel a bit of regret and envy. i guess i'd rather look at the m series (wife will only drive auto) and feel that way.

from the performance reviews i've read it doesn't look like the 330 is very far behind the s2000 in acceleration or slalom. i might have to take her out to the track!

very sweet! we're gonna go with oxford green and sand montana interior. too many silvers and whites on the road now. it's gonna be a swirl magnet, but i'll just have to plan on doubling my maguiers purchases.

i'm starting to get a little jazzed. i'll hardly ever get to drive it so it will stay a real novelty when i do.

We went shopping for a 3 series last fall after test driving both we settled on the 330cic over the 325cic. The difference in hp is very noticable.

My 165hp/166 torque Impreza is perfectly fine for mountain runs.
