Try reading about it before bashing it. It's a design excercise. It senses the driver's mood and mental state based on facial expressions and tone of voice and it interacts with the driver appropriately. The cockpit spins 360 degrees. They stabilize the vehicle by moving the wheels in and our to counter body roll. The electric motors have twice the torque output of a conventional electric motor while being much smaller.
How are they going to make an electric sports car if they don't work on their electric technologies first?
CONCEPT... CONCEPT... think about what the word means for a minute.

I don't understand. Are we supposed to not laugh at it because it's a concept? Are concepts off-limits from critique? Are all concepts equally worthy? Do we need to be designers in order to understand enough to enjoy poking fun at cartoon cars?

Thank you.

I was just trying to say that those concepts that we see these days are not meant for present time.
I also used to draw fancy sports cars when I was studying transportation design, and I used to get horrible grades for that.

I was drawing cars that target the present market, not 10-20 years ahead.
After spending years studying, I realized it's not car enthusiasts who come up with a creative/successful design.
It's rather those who are more artistic, those who think out of the box that become a good designer.
Trust me, when a huge corporation like that spend money on those design exercises, there's enough reason for that.

My apologies if I was acting like a smartass.
