Haha...I thought the same thing when I saw that a few days ago online. I have a very very very strong feeling this wont grow on me. The TSX started to grow on me, but it wasnt THAT much different than last gen. The new TL is hideous. Its like a knock-off Lexus GS. The interior is pretty trick though.
You know...the Acura folks know this thing looks like absolute SHIT!!! It's no wonder they've been taking TONS of angle shots...I've literally been waiting weeks to finally see the side profile...SURE enough, absolute fawkin' UGH!
Seriously...it's some fawked up bird-looking car now.
Well I saw a new TSX earlier, and that thing looked sweet. I like the front, the rest of the TL still leaves much to be desired, I'm sure it'll look tons better in person though.
One thing I do credit Acura for is, well, the cars look more substantial and expensive (some say ugly), but they're not you're average cookie cutter Acura's anymore. It's like the Bangle bimmers, they may seem ugly to some, but they still sold like crazy and had a distinct look. Acura never had a distinct look, they've achieved it, and though the designs are controversial, that's exactly what they needed. I've said this on the other TL thread, but I'm gonna stick with it because like I said, the TSX looks nice in person.
a that little piece on the TL you guys are pointing out on the front bumper looks weird. Everything else looks good to me. I really like the wheels too. The car's not THAT bad.
