Lotus Exige Confirmed for U.S. Release in Early 2006

That's not an Exige. That picture is of their Le Mans prototype GT racer I believe..

The exige is supposed to have basically all new panels compared to the elise except a bumper or somethin like that... and look very similar to the above pic..

I really doubt they're gonna come from the dealership like that

A friend of mine took viddy of one 2 ft under water in New Orleans. I can't imagine being the owner of that car, he probably waited months for it...

The news on the US Exige is old. Take a trip over to elisetalk.com and read the forums. They've known about the Exige for almost six months now. Also, as mentioned, the one in the picture above is not the product we will be seeing here but a one-off race version that was built privately for a client by Lotus. I started this thread on it back in January of this year.

The Exige is a fun track car.

An 80's 930 turbo is a faster (much) track car for less money -- but it does eat through more expensive tires and brakes.
