I'm guessing he doesn't have much experience with burn outs...

Why are they dumb? The guy did the most massive burnout ever for the crowd, trashed $800 worth of tires and jacked up his fender for a minute and a half of armageddon burnout...just to please the crowd!

I'm guessing the owner of the silver Z06 who did the 1.5 minute burnout isn't too stressed about money and getting his Z06 fixed.
Personally, I think people like this are dumb because they are abusing their cars for no other reason than to impress a bunch of people they don't know and who don't have to live with the consequences.

Wow, you guys are the d-bags stereotyping Corvette owners.

So, a guy burns up his clutch because he obviously is clueless and that's a typical Corvette owner? Okay.

You can find d-bag owners amongst almost all cars if you put aside your biases...yes, there are even d-bag S2000 owners out there.

I posted this car's CarFax on the local board: Look towards the bottom.

That's the owner that did it BTW. That would be lawsuit city if it wasn't and it somehow made it on the web.

But Corvette owners, as a whole, are very easy to stereotype. Its like talking about guys that drive "Donks" - while I haven't met all of them and they are all different and some are whatever... Im pretty sure I know what I'm dealing with even before they open their mouths...

A quick Google search quickly conjures up EXACTLY what I think when I think "Corvette owner".

And last but not least, this picture is a very good indication as to why Corvette seats are not better bolstered...

Its all in good fun.

Oh, when searching for that pictures of Gus' sticker I found this pic in the thread... That black C6 at the end is owned by the guy in the shades, he was 19 at the time IIRC. He hung out with us because... well... we weren't geriatrics. Edit - thats one of two C6s Ive driven - that one being a base 07 6SPD the other an 07 Convertible 6 speed with suspension, navigation, power top, etc.
