Starting at $51,650 MSRP

Have this been discussed yet? Maybe it's just be but that price is ridiculous.

People in Z4 forum are all up-in-arm over the price as well. Nearly the base price of an M3 sedan...

I don't know. I realize you are paying for the badge as well but those double clutch gearboxes can get expensive. Not to mention you get 300hp, 300ft/lbs torque and no cost maintenance (which is probably just factored into the price anyways but still, I'll bite). Also if BMW follows through with the factory reflashes you get performance and your warranty. Is it worth it? Maybe not, but I don't think they are that far off. It's probably a great driver. That's just my opinion though.
