:werd: lol@ vette cheerleader!

can't stand pricks who are out to make a profit instead of actually enjoying the car. Ruins the whole 'supercar for thousands less' part of the value equation.

If you can really get one at MSRP, you should definitely buy it and flip it for profit. Every mildly wealthy joe dirt in the country will be trying to buy this car.

After reading up on corvetteforum, you should definitely do it if you can buy it at MSRP.

I wonder if there is any way to avoid sales tax? Ive heard something about getting a dealer license before but not sure what all is involved or if it would even work in this case.

You would be crazy to spend that kind of money on that car. I'd rather drop that amount for a slightly used Ford GT, and get a bank loan for the rest. At least you can call that car an "investment."

Sightly used Gt's are 160k and up. They hit a low above MSRP and then have been rising due to their exclusivity and found easy modability to get tremendous HP with little expense and risk of problems.

Did you hit the lottery or something Corey? I wouldn't do it. Not enough upside and I don't think the car is worth 100K personally much less 112 plus taxes, reg etc.

Who cares? It's a some metal, carbon fibre, plastic, aluminum, etc. It's not like he's buying and selling humans.

uh oh..here comes another vette fanboi...

most all folks on this forum and others (including myself) look down upon dealers who markup cars such as the GT-R. Yet when a fellow vette cheerleader wants to buy a ZR1 and flip it for more money, you guys agree?

The whole point of the ZR-1 is to give the performance of a car costing many times its price at a price thats barely affordable for the common man. Buying one and then flipping it for a profit defeats this purpose.

It seems that vette lovers will screw over their own breed just to turn a quick profit.
