Good links, XV. To the OP......Why would one component read in Km/h while the other read in MPH???? Doesn't seem logical. In the S2000, when one is switched over, so is the other. Can't do them seperately. I'd have to go jump in a Vette to investigate if they can be seperately adjusted, but again......not logical.
Also why is it notated as MPH for Miles Per Hour, but Km/h for Kilometers Per Hour? They are both ratios and "logically" should be indicated the same way. Must have been dreamed up by you Cannucks! Hahahaha.

You can't switch the odometer back and forth but the speedometer you can. If the Vette was made and sold in the US would it only be in miles. I understand what your saying about it be made in the US and brought over to Canada for sale. That's not the question if it was made for the US market shouldn't it read in miles. Every car that I've been in, in the US the odometer reads in miles.
As for the motor in the Vette - I know the LS7 monster is at the new PBC in Wixom (nice facility btw).
My company supplies the LS7 double gerotor (dry sump) oil pump.

Good links, XV.
It is obvious from that one link I put up that the speed display on a C6 can be switched back and forth and it is almost a certainty that when changed, it changes both speedo and odo. I have owned many digital speedo equipped cars and not one of them will display two different standards of measurement.

I would still like to see some reference to St. Catherines for the regular C6 engine.

As "SS" indicated, the LS7 is built in Wixom.
As a side note: Just curious, what does where the engine is built have to do with whether or not the display can be changed?
ps. It doesn't really matter where the engine is "made". It is still considered that the Corvette is "made" in Kentucky, thus being an "American" car.
