How did they get the 70K msrp on the M3? Markup is give and take depend on the buyer. If they just want to talk strictly msrp, then the M3 is about 12k over 335i.
The video is good, but the commentator is terrible. "M3 keep your lunch money, you gonna need it for gas?" What the mpg on the Dinan 335i? Jeremy Clarkson said some crazy stuff, but nothing like this. Not a big BMW fan, but give me the badge it part of being ownership.

So since according to C&D, the M3 is better than the GT-R and 911 Turbo and since a tuned 335i is better than the M3, that means the tuned 335 is better than the GT-R and the 911 Turbo right? Man, I guess all those guys who act like their reflashed 335i's can beat anything on the road were right....
J/K, nice video, although I think they had a result in mind before they started testing...

it's just like the "the king is dead" article where the G37 loses in every category to the 335i except price, and then they declare it the winner.
No...it was the clear loser. It won on value, but not on performance. If you wanna have a value contest, neither of those cars is gonna win anything.

M-DCT $2700
technology $3200
premium package $2K
premium audio $2K
19" wheels $1200
winter package $1K (?)
sat and HD radio $1K
extended leather $900
GG tax $1300
paint $500
the 335i has the same options so you can get one low-$50s (except no premium audio or DCT option).
