One of the local guys had one. They are interesting little cars for sure. Actually share some parts with the S2000 like the steering wheel and the dash looks similar.

Fun would be a Kswaped one Honda K Powered Insight - Environmental Blasphemy - Honda Tuning Magazine

If I'm remembering correctly, the steering wheels are the same, although the one in the Insight is not wrapped in leather. The Insight was also made in the same factory that made the hoods for the S2000.

I loved the original Insight. Shame they turned it into a Prius...
Kswap is cool as hell, but I'd love to do a mid-engined one:

I had one.. It was great at fuel economy, but.. kinda sucked as a car in every other sense. suspension was sucky, handling was sucky, HP was lacking, still only had two seats that were not super comfortable, etc. Had to downshift to 3rd a few times to go up mountain passes at the 70mph that everyone else was driving at.

If your use for it is to burn up highway miles with efficiency, it will do great at that. If you want to use it as a daily to haul stuff/people/do stuff, you'd probably get tired of it.

The car itself is general Honda build quality, I didn't have any issues with mine. Batteries are going to be the weak point with how old these are. New battery packs can be had for ~$2k, or you can disable it and run gas only if you had to.
