My Car Is Four Years Old This Week
I drove her home on February 6, 2002. She was the first S2000 I ever test drove. I'd been lusting after the car since I first picked up a brochure two years earlier, and one drive sealed the deal.
She'd been on the lot for almost two weeks. I was looking for a Grand Prix White model, but there were none to be found in the entire area. The sales manager knocked $1,000 off the retail price (pretty good for early '02), and I did something I swore I'd never do - I bought a red sports car.
Since then, I've driven her in bumper-to-bumper traffic and on deserted country roads. I've never tired of the experience. Redline is as exciting now as it was then! I've added a few mods here and there - and there are more to come. I've test driven other cars, but every time I drove her back home, I said to myself, "Why? I have everything I need right here."
The Honda engineers knew what they were doing with this car. They got it right. Thank you, Honda, and thank you, S2ki.com!
