Face time with the SRT guys and you get that these guys are really trying to put track day fun in production cars. If you read their warranty info, they only void it if you're actually racing (time or position). They're not interested in voiding warranties like many other manufacturers do.
On the Demon, they ran 5,000 1/4 mile runs on the same car without a single issue before they thought it was ready for prime time.
I'm sold on Dodge SRT products moving forward. I'm now on my second. It's love man.
Oh, and I took my hellcat to a private day with 8 hours of unlimited track time. I beat the snott out of that car. Turned the rotors blue with so much heat. Not a drop of oil consumed and nothing over heated. That's insane. Longest single stretch of track time was pushing nearly 2 hours of balls out 9/10ths driving.

Just as an update to the few srt enthusiasts out there. I had to take my Jeep back to the dealer because the engine started making a louder noise that didn’t seem normal to me. They think the crank could have been damaged. In any event they are now wanting to replace the entire motor with a new motor. They are discussing with Jeep to get the approval.

For all the guys who love on SRTs, small update on my end.
After a cross country road trip from west coast to east coast I popped a ABS/TCS warning light. It turns out the tone ring inside a hub had vanished. 707 hp in the wet without tcs is a lot of fun.
While I'm out of the b2b warranty SRT stepped in to foot the bill. The folks at corp office have been a delight to work with. The online chat got me shut down but a reasonable conversation with a few friendly people had it all sorted out within a day. The team over there is responsive via phone and email.
Thought this was a great experience and that the company really stands behind their SRT products. I'm back on the road ripping it up!

That is awesome, the SRT group is every unique and I love their enthusiasm and passion for what they do and the work they do to promote their vehicles. I hope they keep that division going in the future.
