We get it, you don't like the car for any logical reason.

People get too two tied up in heritage. From what I can gather the last Supra was nothing special save the fact that the engine took mods extremely well. This new Supra seems fantastic with the exception of visibility. I've owned three BMWs with the inline six. I bought the 135i because of the engine. Even in stock form the n55 in my 135i was awesome. I'd love to have that N55 in my s2000. No, the engine is not perfect. The oil filter housing gasket thing has troubled BMW forever and that sucks.

Fanboys need to stop. Get off your high horses about this collaboration. It's been made very clear that if Toyota didn't collaborate with BMW this car would never have happened. Would that make you happy?

Exactly. Imagine Honda brought back the S2000 with Benz drivetrain/parts with a Honda badge.

Imagine creating a terrible analogy trying to defend other people's terrible logic.

Here's a clue on what it's terrible: Honda wouldn't need to go to anywhere to find a capable 4 cylinder engine to power a S2000 remake.

Just gonna a leave this here..
If "The Matrix" 2 and 3 were never made, most folks would be a lot happier.
Ditto Season 8 of Games of Thrones.

Nothing. Whats fascinating is the peanut gallery, NONE of them have even driven the car. Last car I bought, I read all the reviews then drove it and laughed at how bad the journalists are today. I bought it too after a test drive. People need to drive this new Supra then decide. Sorry you don't know what a car feels like, the entire package until you actually drive it instead of taking jabs on the etherwebz.

And yes, no BMW involvement, no new Supra. Get over it, move on.

It's a sad situation when people's overall happiness depends on the outcome of a movie or TV series.

Having sad that, while you had to watch GOT or Matrix to find out you didn't like it and made you less happy, you don't have to drive or buy the new Supra. The most that people will have to endure is having to see one once in a while on the streets.

This looks like a good place to drop this off I'm still digging the simple and elegant classic looks of this over the new one, its proven to age very well and that says something. I think the new one has a ****ed up face.
