Possibly because F&F tries to make street cars look racy, and this will be a race car modified for the street?
Every car in SPEED Championship, Grand-Am, Rolex, Trans-Am, Le Mans, DTM, Australian V8 Supercars, SCCA Club Racing, etc. etc. series, heck, even many of the cars in local autocrosses, look like they'd fit in F&F movies. You just have to keep straight who are the pretenders and who are the real deals.
I'm not so concerned with the street version, actually - I suspect it's for homologation purposes? I'm more interested in how the race version will do against the Aston Martins and Corvettes.

I'd definitely take this over a Veyron. Sure the Veyron is fast and luxurious, but it also weighs over 4000 pounds to do it.
And saying the Veyron will lap this thing because the speed in the straights will make up for the cornering, I'd have to say no way. This Porsche will likely be lighter by at least 600 pounds, yet only sports about 30 less horespower.
