i've never driven amg version ok slk (slk55 that is). i did testdrive slk350, z4m and cs. if you want a comfy gt, go with the slk (again not the amg which i've never driven yet). if you want a driver's car, the z4m and cs should be your options. what would i choose? i would go with the z4m since i can get a much better deal these days. if money is not an issue then the cs all the way.

Cayman S is the better sports car
Z4M provides a lot of thrills, laughs and giggles. Just like a German muscle car. The engine is a pure gem and sounds exotic.
SLK I never drove because I always associate Mercedes cars with boring but apparently the new one is more fun to drive.

Cayman S is my choice from this group, with M Coupe second, and SLK 55 a distant third. I don't like the Merc's styling, and I think it is the least focused driver's car of the three.
