Thoughts on the Infiniti Q60
I am in the market for a new daily to replace my 2011 Volt.
Sensible me, that gets paid mileage for work, feels like the smart choice would be a newer Volt. Good mileage, longer electric range, low cost of ownership.
Car Guy me, that wants to enjoy what I drive, is wanting something a little more fun, and i have always been a fan of coupes since my 00 Accord.
Because i drive a lot, I have a healthy fear of the Germans as the car will be out of warranty pretty quickly.
I wanted to see if anyone had an opinion (worth listening to) on the 2017-2018 Infiniti Q60.
I have read some reviews on the issues with the active steering, but in the past, I have heard decent reviews of Infiniti reliability and repair costs.
I am also disappointed that it does not have cooled seats, but it does have Adaptive Cruise Control.
Thanks

I think it is a very sharp car!!! I hear what you are saying on the German cars for sure, I love them, but usually move on prior to the warranty ends. I have never owned one, but I have driven many cars with the same engine, I love the engine. I would also consider the Lexus RC, it more then likely will have better resale and build quality, but may not be as fast.

I recently went shopping for a new daily driver; luxury sports sedan category. My list got narrowed down to Cadillac ATS, Infiniti Q50, Acura TLX (V6 AWD) and Lexus IS350 F-Sport. After driving all four, I settled on the Lexus. As mentioned above, the build quality and resell, seemed to be much better in the Lexus. Also, the interior on the Lexus is by far the nicest of the four. While the Q50 was a very nice car, within the first minute of the Lexus test drive, I knew it was the car for me. In short, I'd also recommend test driving an RC 350 (f-sport in particular). Good Luck!
