LL, cheapest AMV8s are about 45... And a bit more for a good one. Lots in the high 40s though.
(No need to ask how you know. JFDI, man! )

I picked up a Maser 3200 Asseto Corsa for £16000 at the back end of last year. It was almost identical to this one http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1592913.htm.
I preferred it to the 4200 because of the 'hockey stick' rear liights . It was a truly fabulous car with a glorious sound track and they are quite big in comparison to 'normal' cars. It had a real sense of presence and I loved being able to say "I drive a Maserati"
The interior of mine was a bit plasticky, the 4200 has a much nicer interior.
I kept it for 6 months and passed it on as it drank more than my wife , they should really be maintained by a Ferrari qualified mechanic and they don't come cheap !
Luckily for me it was faultless so cost me nothing but fuel. It was bloody fast and handled very well (in the dry)
I'm pleased I had it but for me, it wasn't a long term prospect due to the inappropriate running costs.
You'll love it
