I'd love to keep the S, unfortunately I need something more suitable to commuting, and I can't afford to run 2 cars. Choosing a 123d is a reasonable/sensible compromise for me, obviously it can't compete with the S as an out and out sports car, but it will still have enough power (allbeit not quite delivered in the same way) in order to have at least a little bit of fun when the moment arises.

Well, I've bought one, a rather nice (IMO) 123d M Sport Coupe. I'm very pleased so far, pretty much what I was expecting although it does make you realise what a great drivers car the S2000 is. Quick pic...

Cool it's not the ones with the flat back either they look shit, these remap well you know 260 bhp but with great Mpg too.
