Default 2004 GT3

I had the pleasure of driving one yesterday... It is so so fast... the cornering ability is amasing... I am having another go in it tomorrow....

He has the lux pack with leather seats, air con and carbon bits every where.... Its very understated.

Will get some pictures up tomorrow...

We managed a 11.5 second run to 100 mph according to Dynolicous on the iphone... I think 0-60 was 5.5 off the top of my head.....

Nice - I want one.

They will do under 10 to 100 according to most figures.

But most figures don't include the price of a clutch

See that's why I like mine, it will crack 10 seconds and is easy on the clutch

I've never seen a slow GT3 on track though, they just seem to be awesome.

I've been held up in the bends by more than a few unfortunately

It is nice to see them being driven very quickly though, last time I was at Snetterton I waved one past through Coram and it came past me like I was standing still and put a big smile on my face

Got past one at Spa I think, but generally they seem to be driven by people who can drive them well.

My experience so far has been the opposite which is why that moment sticks in my head

I'm willing to have my mind changed though

Have you been to the Ring?

I guess that's what sways my opinion. Most of the guys driving them are locals and are very fast. Possibly people from the UK aren't so good.

Except the brit who a few of saw smack his 997 GT3 into a barrier, nock himself out, and grind the car down about 20 metres of armco

Nope still haven't been, my little noddy car would run out of gears and spend all day on the rev limiter.

And I'm too lazy to drag it over there so keep making excuses like the above.
