Default 2nd Hand Car Market

Guys, is anyone else p***ed off with the state of second hand car prices. I have been trying to flog the Mrs car for 12 weeks now, and its 25% below book, still not a whisper.

I notice that people who have got their S up for sale are having to drop the prices too - there are some great buys out there at the moment.

Thought I would have a moan and get it off my chest!

Car dealers are also having the same problem, speaking with a few 2 weekends ago, they both told me all secondhand cars at present are selling between 10-20% behind book value.

Chatting to my mate who has been a VERY sucessful car trader for years used to do 5 - 10 cars per week (that is huge stock turn for one salesman) he has sold only 2 cars in 4 weeks and he had to even give those away.

I wish I saw this coming, there are some hot 996 Porsches in the

The problem with the S2000 market is that we'll be straight into the winter lull in a few months. Then prices will really take a kicking.

It was bound to happen to the luxury used car market once the idiot government introduced their retrospective car tax. nice one guys

Spectacular bad timing really, not the gov't's fault.

Now the boring dweebs cannot beng on about how much their fuecking house has gone up, they feel depressed and realise they're in shit street.

You watch what happens to Audi/BMW/the other one, once they realise that the leasing market is gonna collapse, and they get back all this 3YO sales-rep crap and realise they've taken a huuuuge dump on the resale values!

Posher have already launched another couple of stupid special editions to attract the gullible.
