The cars were hugely huge, expensive and ugly. They (in common with the SL) were destined to descend like a Led Zeppelin.

The 8er was far prettier and had the same fate. Great s/h buys!

4yrs old - out of warranty

hugely expensive to run

I'd say 33% of new price is about right, maybe even a little high

I'll be tempted at £10K but not nearly £20K

those cars will halve in value again soon enough

Saw a 5 series GT the other day. That is going to depreciate horrendously. FUGLY thing.
