So many similar stories on here with the S200 xxx plate spacing and sizing.

It just isn't worth it now chaps - they are under orders to increase revenue.


Go legit now. They will get you again again and again.

Yeah thats the plan...its a shame the size of the front plate spoils the lines of the car...I'm about to go and put the horrible number plate holder back on

If it's an import you can get away with it. I printed out a copy of the DVLA website and had my V5 (saying import).

And it's stupid to say ANPR can't read it as most are the same size as motorbike plates.

But it is the law, and you did break it.

Exactly what I was thinking - it's not America, we don't use the world "tail" to describe the rear of a car, we call it the rear.
