There must be at least be a close to a dozen threads reporting the same.
The guys gave sage advice to everyone and to yourself.
They are not having a pop at you.
The law is simple. Plates must be full size and properly spaced.
The fine is clear.
The surprise is how often people get caught out.

There is a minority who get a kick out of trying to rub people up the wrong way, unfortunately. Such is life.
