For me this shooting in this video is truly amazing, at times the presenter can grate on you but as a car fan, this video silenced me. I feel that this is everything Top Gear should be but then it wouldn't get the numbers, would it.

Some nice videography and graphics (although trying a tad too hard for a short car documentary). That narration/presentation is awful though. As many clichés as possible said with as little feeling as possible. I have no evidential basis for this, but my gut feel says he just comes across as a 'toff who wants to show off his cars and be Chris Harris' and probably paid his mate in the business to do the graphics. Almost like it's a promo for a poor presenter and a decent videographer. Utter hypothesis, but it's how it comes across to me. I didn't make it past 30 seconds without skipping.

That said, I couldn't do any better.

Chris, if we didn't have strong opinions the world would be a boring place! I agree that the phrases he uses are ridiculous but he does talk about the cars on another level to 0-60 and how sideways does it go.

Maybe its just my love of the 964 thats fuelling this...

 

Nice camera work and direction but overall it struck me as just trying too hard. (I gave up after 5 or so minutes)

 

Hmmm, I like to try and give people a fair crack of the whip but I only got through the (2 minute !) intro and the bit where he threw the keys - it's like a bad episode of "Made in Chelsea"

I'd still love a 964 any day of the week though

 

That bellend presenter needs facking off. The script needs to climb out of its own arse and the camera man needs to play less gta at night.

And the presenter needs to be kicked in the stones when he's walked off.
