Default Am I insane?

I want an Evora, I want one so badly I can feel it in my testes. Is it a really bad idea to put a deposit down on one a year before it's going to turn up? I think I'm being silly, but I want one.

They're just lovely, have as much room as the S2k, in fact from the looks of things more room than the S2k a V6 mid engine with about 280 bhp and 0-60 in under 5 for

I don't understand people putting a deposit down before they drive a car TBH. If they intend on keeping the car.

The power to weight ratio doesn't seem enough for a 45k car. it's 1300kg which is a lot.

Sensible heads say wait for a 1 y/o one, if I had the cash I'd put in a deposit in an instant.

I think its a stunning looking car - there was a brief review/write up about it in this months Top Gear magazine if you haven't seen it already.

It's a refundable deposit. I see what you mean though

You only live once, and could die in a heatbeat.

Do it and don't look back

I did.

But I had a pretty good idea from the design what it would be like to drive anyway. I'm not often surprised.

Surprisingly lardy for a Lotus, I agree.

You can guess, but sometimes all is not as it seems.

it's that weight figure that still gets me. Colin must be turning whereever he is.

I am struggling to see how they can be 1350Kg and get sub 5secs with a 280bhp engine. More weight than the S2k and more power but not enough to shave more than a second off the time.

Still looks brilliant and I've been looking around for more shots, the rear seats while not looking terribly comfortable look like they have some function. I wont put a deposit down because the wife wont let me and it makes no sense buying one next year but I'll get that itch again mid summer next year and if I don't buy that XKR I may cave and go buy a new one of these.
