Some dude attempts to sell a Cat-C car as new.. mods investgate:
he gets pulled on it denies that 'imi' who was after the repair stuff for a VXR is him (even with photos). Then mods find that imi and the seller have the same registered IP.

Seller claims that the car isn't registered on the insurance register.
Is your comment from actually looking up that registration Moff? If it is then this Imran character must be more than just stupid.

No I didn't check and I now have checked.
I would like to change what I initially said from:
"If people check the car before purchasing they would see that the car is a Cat C."
to
"If people check a car before purchasing they would see if the car is a Cat C."
I was assuming the car was a Cat C from Joper90's initial post.
I have now checked it and it has never been a write off.
The guy however does have to declare if a buyer asks if the car has been involved in an accident (if he knew).
However, anyone claiming that this car is a Cat D or Cat C is wrong.
If guy Imran did not ask the previous owner when he bought it if it had any accident repairs, he hasn't got a leg to stand on - assuming this is a private sale.
Not sure what the issue is.
The car wasn't a write off, it's been repaired, assuming the repairs are good it's worth no less than any other.
