Default Another comparison poll!

I wrote a thread re possible getting a CTR or a cooper S. The Cooper has been discounted completely. I still like the CTR but am worried about residuals and the old school image once the new model comes out.

I have now driven the ST2 and the VXR: here are the specs

ST2 bright orange!(likely to get attention wether i want it or not)

Ford - prefer the styling, and I think it will hold its value better. Half-decent "Fast Fords" seem to become modern classics - Vauxhalls generally don't.

If you're worried about residuals I wouldn't get either of those to be honest. If I had to choose I'd get the Ford but wouldn't pay 19k for one.

What about an Integra? Cheaper than either of those and much nicer to own IMHO, more of an enthusiasts car than a chav-mobile.

I meant a new model CTR if you can wait.

What about and a new shape Golf GTI, or a new R32...or even a Audi A3 2.0 T-FSI S-line?
