Im sure I have said this before but when I learnt to drive lane discipline was one of the things I learnt and grasped easily as Im sure many on here have. Im sure that driving course content has not changed that much so why do pople ignore it?

But the driving test doesn't/didn't used to include any motorway driving, which I think is the big issue here. If that has changed then we might see an improvement over the next 25 years but basically, people on the motorway (90-95%) dont have a clue what lane they should be in and when to move over...

I'm really glad. Even at 8pm it is full of vacant drivers who seem to have gone ballistic.
I would hate to have to do it every day for work. I'm quite sure the increase in risk is significant.
