Another Porsche thread.
I dont know how you lot dare to critise porsche
, They have consistantly bettered each variant of the 911 and boxster mechanically and in my oppinion visually with a small hiccup on the 996. So how have Honda improved the s2k over the last 9 years????? Visually, with a set of new wheels and some bumper mods, mechnically, revised suspension and altering the vtec slightly and vsa. Call me old fashoined but hardly earth shattering steps forward, I think they still think that the competetion is the 2.5 boxster.
IMHO Porsche make fantastic cars with everything in the right place (aprt from engine in 911
) and the bonus is that now you can buy cayman s's at 30k, boxster s's at 25k and c2s's at 40k as long as you can get rid of your existing car.

Oh, and all those things on my list are 'official' extras for the Boxster, all for an extra cost over the price of the car.
What is it they say about fools and their money?

I wouldn't take it too seriously; If there weren't fools, there'd be no S/H cars.
Interesting that S2000 owners put a lot of similar tat on their cars. It's merely that it's not on an extensive (and expensive) OPC list, means one has to trawl Gooogle under "rice"!
Except the AC/DC headlights, which of course are standard.

But not if you buy a year old, all those lovely options are free to the next owner.
tasteless tat for the most part
unfortunately, all manufacturers seem to be at it
In dubai last week and had a go in the new 911 GT3. What a great car. Put the "launch mode" on at a set of lights and after changing my underpants i still have a smile on my face! AWESOME!
