Default Anyone driven a C63 AMG?

Does anyone have any detailed experience of these cars? Looking particularly at the following;

1) Comfort without the performance pack.
2) The interior plastics look horrendously cheap what are they like to live with ie do they rattle and creak?
3) Does it feel well put together?
4) Room in the back with a child seat in?
5) MPG, im used to my cars doing 17mpg so its not too much of an issue but 17 mpg is really worse case scenario for the way I drive in my C4S and it will easliy hit 25-30mpg on a long run. Is the AMG one of these cars that will only do 13mpg when you so much as breathe on the throttle like a RS6?
6) Whats the front end like? With such a big engine up front does it ruin the front end grip?
7) Could the wife easily get in and trundle about without getting too scared? What Im saying is could it unerve a woman?

I want it to give me a bit of a thrill but to be a comfy car to go away for the weekend and make the wife feel safe with our 1yr old? Shes not keen on the 911 and my son detests the pushchair that is the only one that will fit in the front boot making it redundant at weekends.

I drove one around the track and skid pan at MB Brooklands with their AMG experience. £120 for an hour with a race driver was a lot of fun.

The handling was excellent for a big car, the power and sound of the V8 addictive, seemed possible to light up the rear tyres at any speed.
Turn in was very good on the track and I soon forgot about the auto box, it seemed predictable and the changes were fluid unlike the Porsche tiptronic I drove recently which I hated.

I can't answer the majority of your questions, but take a trip to Brooklands and try one out on the track and see if you like it.

Not a C63 AMG, but a guy at work has an SLK55 AMG.

Regarding fuel, he says it drinks it when you hammer it, but when driving sensibly it will easily return 30 mpg.

Stonking car.
If I had the money it would be in my wish list for sure.

I was trying to goad one into a drag on the M5 recently, but he didnt want to waste his fuel
The Carrera earlier on that same evening was toast.

Buy one.

Shreds tyres like crazy
Plastics are dreadful fit inside
Engineering wise lovely
Drives nicely
Comfort without performance pack is less stiff, but OK.
Good space in back
RS6 territory for economy
Wife OK for everyday driving
Not 911 handling, but not bad.

This comes from someone who drive one regularly for business.

EDIT - not me, a colleague

Many thanks.
I sat in one the other day and the interior is truly horrendous, I mean low end Vauxhall horrendous! The seats feel really comfortable and as your colleague says there is enough room in the back and the boot.
Lease rates on these over two years are pretty good, around 750 including vat. If the car is 54k (including nav and 19s) then the car will need to be worth 34500 in order to break even on a buy vs lease scenario. Personally I think it will be around that figure but it means that all the money from the 911 sale can stay in the bank and be used elsewhere plus I dont have the agro of selling in two years.
It will be a personal lease so no tax issues to factor.
NB: not factored in the vat increase but only 16/mth.
