oh, cool, thanks for the info ukjasonm..so i guess you guys get the civic type-r and we don't so instead we *should* get the integra type-r..we'll see..i heard that Honda is coming back for BTCC..is it so? i've always liked the euro Accords much more so than the yank version..ours is a travesty..
here, in the states, since the WRX has come out, it's been hugely popular..i understand it's been quite popular in the u.k. for quite some time now..i've driven my friends and it's pretty awesome..turned up the boost a little from 14.2 to 16lbs..it's nice.

I've just got the UK Type-R brochure through the door, wow! The CTR in Black looks absolutley awesome... IMVHO better than the new shape JDM import ITR I saw the other week (I know they are chalk & cheese dynamically though!!)

I'll be waiting on the call from Pennine Honda for my test drive...

Jason: will it be possible to get Euro-import CTR's cheap do you think??

Ive seen prices in the back of car mags for Euro CTRs at about 14K which means if you did a DIY you could probably get one for about 13K which is a bargain. Personally I prefer the ITR but Warrenders are charging an outrageous 23.5K for them and thats without some extras i.e. AC and HID lights.

Jonathan:

It was a lot of fun!

In view of the interest in this car I'll do a separate post later on with my thoughts on it. It is a fun car!

Co-incidentally, I noticed a red one outside our local dealer this evening.

Temple Honda, Railway Street, Hertford, if anyone nearby fancies a blast.

Morrissey the consumer monkey was apparently very depressed about not being offered a role in Randall & Hopkirk (deceased). He was last seen working in a local DIY store, and spent his spare time writing pompous consumer test articles in his local paper.
