Slow as Christmas but I think it qualifies as a race replica and it's MG based so you've probably got a head start:

Westfield XI

I saw one lurking in the paddock at Brands Hatch at the weekend and it looked fantastic.

Yep, this original was second to last in the race I saw the other weekend.. could hold it's own through the bends in the dry, but as soon as it caught the slightest sniff of a hill the guy might as well have got out and pushed

I don't plan anything with smaller than a 4.2 litre engine

I favour a 6 litre V12

only because there would be no room left for the driver

how about a 5.4 litre V12 from a beemer

they any smaller?

MarkB has a mate with the body mouldings for a Porsche 962 I think, that'd make a tasty project and would befit your style.
