Default Anyone on here got an X1 or a Q3?

Missus wants either one of the above.

Test drove an X1, seemed ok. Tested a GTI as well, I liked that, she didn't. Doh

Anyone got an X1 or Q3 experience?

Got a Q3 demo in a couple of weeks. Had the X1 and it was alright. Nothing to write home about. Blandsville really.

Completely agree. Steering felt heavy. Flat as a pancake. She seemed to like it. No idea why. Testing a q3 tomorrow.

Know a couple of people that have the Hyundai Ix35 and haven't heard any bad points so far. I'm even considering contacting Hyundai and getting their Fleet person in to discuss terms and arrange a demo. You'll get a lot more car for your money.

Chap at work has one and it's lovely inside and to drive / be driven in. Still returns 50+mpg in the proces and the level of stock kit is far and away above anything Audi would allow.

The Kia Sportage is probably worth a look too, as it's essentially the same car as the Hyundai, and looks a bit better.

Kia and Hyundai have made great strides in every area

Designs are fresh and the interiors no longer stuck in 1974

Once they overcome the badge snobbery they will sell even more

It's increasingly coming down to whether you will pay more for a badge

Traditional benefits such as the build quality associated with Mercedes are pretty much redundant now
