The more I read and watch, the more I like the idea.
Cracking package... quite a retro idea.

Works both ways, does JUSTIFICATION.

A lot seem to have to justify selling the family sports car.

And that is due to either financial restrictions, or pressure from the spouse.

Just something I noticed amongst our many friends with families, in the last few years.

I am lucky to have a wife who's a petrol head too.
I suspect many do not and what the wife 'moans' about, she generally gets.
Not im my household however

Im quite happy with my 335i though, a bit more room

Thanks.

the 135 is very capable
but it's got to be one of the ugliest cars i can think of.
smacked arse, runt of the litter and pig faced are all phrases i associate with it

it's an abomination imho, god knows why anyone would buy one.

but that's the beauty of opinions , mine if valid to me

evo messed about with one to try and track it faster than an M3 but they had issues so never really proved much

I have to say I think 335i is a better bet than the 135i, baby or not, but that's just my opinion.

Damn shame they don't do a 535i.

Thread for the new car then?

The einser looks exactly what it is; a dreier with the sides & ends stoved in. That's plank-sharing the old-fashioned way.

That's why it is so dispicably heavy and why there's depressingly little advantage over the 335/M3.

I pick up the 335i next week.

Needs more voice though, sounds nice outside but too muted.
Piggy Back Vishnus or Juicebox3 after the waranty is up I think, and a set of pipes.
Quite easy to see 370bhp for about £800, joys of turbos gain.

What I like is the sublime motor. There is no noticable lag anywhere.
You can just feel the bigger snail picking up, it's soft like vtec in the midrange.
Im going to like my forst foray into bimmerland I reckon.

You will never get a great noise as it's Turbo. Should have gone for an M3...
