Plus two - it's hard to get away from that Japanese endearing functionality. The Civ's HRW appears to have stopped working and it's not yet 12 YO. Disgraceful.

When I stated forty large, that is for a boggo reptilemobile. By definition a reptilemobile ought to be reliable and apparently they still cannot even make a simple coil pack without ballsing it up!

The 70 large Datsun (they are bringing that brand back for the Russian market!) is moot; those sort of ridiculously fast cars tend to be rather more demanding. OTOH, one gets the feeling that a company that size ought to be able to do a better job than Tommy Kaira can ricing up an R34 to 600 BHP. Or someone sticking a Rotrex on an S2000 in their garage.

It's probably just high resistance on the contact tab. Or a broken wire in the headlining, knowing my luck of late...

Ignore 'groova.

He just hates Germans, full stop.

Getting boring now.

I think hes bored now many of the mainstay posters have migrated to teutonics and the main board is left chockers with chavs and ricers

Not as boring as you, Steve MPG in your signatureZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz?

I like Mercedes cars very much for some reason, especially those with insane engines and they are apparently even less reliable than the Beemers.

I could list the BHP, but that that is just showing off.
29mpg on a 400bhp+ car is too though I suppose.

You talking C63AMG?
My pal runs one, has for over a year.
Not a single issue.

Anyhow.. this is little Germany.
Nothing to see here....

I'm getting an itchy ignition finger

I don't think anything less than 400bhp will do now

I quite like those 335s (some body versions)

You must look at the 335d as well as the 335i!

I liked it, different beast though.

335: You need ride before you buy Pete.

Run flat tyres as standard make for a fidgety car.

Steve changed his setup in that regard as well as tuning the horses.

yes, with old age and a weak bladder I find the ride quality one of the most important aspects of the driving experience

of course, no car is helped by the truly dreadful state of the roads nowadays

and that, coupled with silly wheel and tyre sizes doesn't exactly help

but I must say I find the ride quality on so many cars to be simply unacceptable

far beyond 'poor' or 'crashy'

to the extent that I can't and won't tolerate it on any car I use a lot

I'm therefore only interested in a toy (not the Corgi or rabbit variety) and that will rule out any diesel

I'll have to do some thinking but I'm not going to rush

Back o/t I have very good experiences with BMW's warranty and in Neil's situation I think I'd renew
