Atom - if you're going to freeze to death you might as well do it in something that screams 'LOOK AT ME' properly.

Atom is 300 bhp and 460kg

211 is 250 bhp and 745 kg

But I wonder about corner speeds?

R400 with a sequential box.

Lotus if I had to choose one of the impostors

The Caterhams always seem to do more with less.

Sounds a little optimistic.

Perhaps if you replace 'excellent' with reasonable.

I had excellent reliability in mine right up until the point where the engine blew up at Spa! The rebuild will no doubt give reasonable reliability, but will need a rebuild every year.

Back to topic, the best fun I ever had at the 'ring was driving an Atom, so for that reason I'd stick with what I know.

I am assuming that this would be to use on the road as well as on the track?

Which one is most fun on the road?

R400 because I've driven one and they're awesome.

211 because I've only ever seen the atom driven badly and slowly. No other reason. I'd want a test drive of both though.

MB, you seem to be a a man of wealth, why not the radical SR3?

i've never driven any of the 3 mentioned above.
r400 interests me - it's got a very pure track car image.
atom - i too have heard reports of it being front end light.
lotus - a bit lardy compared to the other 2?

I imagine they'd all be equally frustrating and pointless on the road

Out of the 2 mentioned, the Atom, if it feels light at the front end, you can always put some sand in the boot

Ever considered an Ultima GTR? Can pick one up for about 35k nowadays....
