My wife is a bit of an Audi fan and 'loves' the Q3. Driving back from Cornwall yesterday we were overtaken by many an Audi as you can imagine, the highlight of which a nice R8.

As every one came by she said "ooh that's nice"...

I got onto the dynamics of such cars and said why we would never have a Q3 or any new Audi. I conceded that money no object I would rather have an Audi that our CRV, but I would not pay the extra for it.

Anyway, it boiled down to the best quote of the weekend courtesy of my wife;

"not everything in life can be exciting"

I think Audi should dump 'Vorsprung durch Tecnik' or whatever it is and use this.

Apparently one of the worst car campaigns was for the original Nissan Almera. The ad implied the car was developed in great secrecy and used the slogan "the car they don't want you to drive ..."

So we didn't ...
