Could be some very clever spin from those scamera b@stards in order to rake in more revenue.
Sadly I agree with you. I wouldn't put anything past the f**king bastards.

6:30 am on Saturday morning I went through the SPECS cameras heading southbound on the A1(M).

I certainly changed lanes and I think I may have been a little over the speed limit.

I doubt I will hear anything from them

IIRC the system can also not really cope at 'peak' times. So is more often than not only used outside of peak hours. Mind you at peak times when SPECS is deployed you can't get to the limit anyway.

Are there not signs in SPECS areas telling you to stay in lane ?

Does having no front plate work on a car?

(or could they trace you?)

We have had SPEC in Nottingham for 3-4 years now. I am 100% certain that SPECS can record from any lane regardless of how many times you switch.

Since it's a different camera recording you for the second time why would it matter if you swapped lanes? The time taken between the points is still going to be the same?

IMO that's a load of BS

It is also rumoured that the SPEC's system may be upgraded to allow that camera's to also read the rear of vehicle's i.e. bikes!

I fecking hate them... but what I do enjoy is taking the back road, and then coming half way into a SPECS main road, then nailing it to a ton... a some what satisfying feeling showing that the system clearly doesn't to it's job
