Avoiding SPECS

Since it's a different camera recording you for the second time why would it matter if you swapped lanes? The time taken between the points is still going to be the same?
IMO that's a load of BS

It all comes down to processing the data and I would have thought that a single repository would be used to store all of the data from all of the cameras.
It is also rumoured that the SPEC's system may be upgraded to allow that camera's to also read the rear of vehicle's i.e. bikes!

I fecking hate them... but what I do enjoy is taking the back road, and then coming half way into a SPECS main road, then nailing it to a ton... a some what satisfying feeling showing that the system clearly doesn't to it's job

Funny how I invariably pass the second camera in 3rd gear, ready to nail it!

We have had SPEC in Nottingham for 3-4 years now. I am 100% certain that SPECS can record from any lane regardless of how many times you switch.

It is true.
The Man found that out a few years back when one of his clients was a speed camera manufacturer. Never mind the legal loophole, it is technically not possible at the moment for them to record your speed if you change lane.
I have always made sure I changed lane if I thought I may have gone a bit too fast approaching some cameras, since
Make sure you change lane within the right area. If you are going sooooo fast you could be past it before you can change lane.

it's still true. The problem is that the entry cameras monitor all lanes. The exit cameras monitor only one lane. So you MAY be changing into the monitored lane.
It's all a bunch of wank though. Really ****ing annoying.
