Well, hopefully better late than never - a few more snaps.
I can't compete with Shopman's fantastic photographs, so I'll just compensate with quantity!!! (You did well to get that lovely picture of the Citroen GT....I guess it was taken whilst the other supercars were on the hill. I assume it was broken as disappointingly it didn't move all weekend. Also, did you notice all 4 wheels had been kerbed?!)
A few more piccies of the Audi centre-piece, which I liked:
Now I think I can trump Gad's picture of JYS....my picture clearly captures the true essence of the hell raising, devil-may-care racing driver of the 1960's......
Details of the beautiful teutonic engineering of the Mercedes W154 and the Auto Union Type A:
Nick Mason, who does not seem to lead a bad old life, at the wheel of the Auto Union Type D:
I used to have a Corgi Model of this - the Shadow Cosworth DN5 in its fantastic UOP livery and have never forgiven my Mum for giving it away whilst I was at Uni!
Noisy Typhoon interlude...
Bugs....Pur Sang (pure blood) & Grand Sport rag-top (OK, exquisitly-crafted- removable-glass-top):
Sir Stirling:
SLR named after Stirling....which he drove on Sunday and in a real publicity coupe for Mc-Merc he admitted when interviewd live he much preferred the original car!
Lots & lots of SLR's:
Spooky family likeness:
Only at Goodwood:
Each year there is a car I am really pleased to see, and this year it was the lovely Adrian Newey designed Leyton House Judd CG901B. A lovely delicate car driven up the hill with great verve by Garry Ward - he was piped by just two-tenths of a second by Justin Law in the shoot-out to be fastest up the hill
Ooops...net result of driving AudiDTM car into straw bales at 120mph!
Telling:
But to be fair, Lewis was good fun once he realised that the instruction for no-donuts was to be ignored:
Comparison of '08 aero-madness and the much cleaner lines of the '09 F1 cars:
Nick Masons achingly beautiful 250 GTO
Chris Evans was at Goodwood with his 7 Ferrari's....6 of which he has had painted white (the California Spyder has thankfully remained its original Black). The F40 looks especially odd:
Madness...this is a rebodied E-Type. Good job eh?!
Fast Eddie in the lovely (Nick Mason owned....bastard!) 312 T3

Silk Cut Jag's:
Incredibly, the latest F1 rules mean that a GP car cannot be run outside of a GP weekend, therefore Brwn were unable to run their car at Goodwood ('testing', dont you know ) So, looking somewhat incongrous in modern overals & helmet, Jenson drove pre-war Merc's up the hill:
And back on topic - the glorious, insane Zonda R - with Horatio Pagini doing a bit of pushing & polishing - a top man, very friendly & peronable:
